Welcome to Cherry Blossom’s Gallery (Pre-school).

Here in pre-school, we take children from the age of 2.5 – 5 years. Our pre-school room is designed to enable us to deliver the seven areas of the EYFS and development matters curriculum. Learning is encouraged through play by planning activities based on each child’s interests. The children are encouraged to be independent and make their own decisions such as serving their own lunch and cutting their own fruit. Pre-school is a free-flow room, where it is the children’s decision to go to the garden. In Pre-school our staff help prepare the children for school by encouraging them to use the toilet independently, practising phonics aswell as introducing writing and mathematics. Our pre-school children have the opportunity to participate in a small circle activity which is a adult led session where we focus on communication and listening skills to boost the children’s confidence.
