Our Staff

At Little Leos Nursery we have a qualified, friendly team waiting to support you with your childcare needs.  Our Managers and staff are committed to providing a healthy, happy, stimulating environment for your child.

The children’s safety is paramount to Little Leo’s Nursery.  All of our staff are qualified early years professionals, have an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) and have Child Protection and First Aid training.  We also invest in regular training courses to keep all staff informed and up to date so that they can work to the highest professional standards, bringing new ideas based on the latest thinking back to the nursery, and give your child the best possible care and education.  We have robust recruitment policies and procedures to ensure that all children are safe.

Helping your Child to learn and feel Safe and Loved

We believe the early years in a child’s life is the period of rapid growth and development.  Our aim is to help children feel secure and loved to enjoy various activities and learning programmes and to develop the skills that they will need in the years ahead.  We foster the importance of sharing and encourage individual expressions and social interaction to build confidence and to promote self-esteem.
It’s a big step to leave your child in the care of others that is why we believe in working in partnership with you to recreate the same safe, loving environment as your home in our Nursery.

“The management and staff aim for continuous improvements in the care and learning they provide for children”

“Staff have a secure understanding of how children develop and learn.  They make regular assessments of the children’s abilities and identify the next steps in their learning.  This ensures that effective learning takes place for all children”

“Staff plan a broad range of learning opportunities that match children’s interests and abilities.  Children make good progress in their learning."

“Staff provide daily opportunities for children to develop and express their creativity”
